Welcome to the Sassafras Mountain Estates Property Owners Association Website.

The Sassafras Mountain Estates Property Owners Association was formed to represent the collective interests of property owners and to maintain our private roads. We are located about an hour north of Atlanta near Mount Oglethorpe and across from Amicalola Falls. Many homes enjoy year round views of the area's mountain ranges, cascading waterfalls, spring fed streams, or nearby Dawson Forest. There are several walking trails in the area to enjoy nature.

This web site was produced and is maintained by Sassafras Mountain Estates Property Owners Association, Inc., the managing entity that has assumed responsibility for maintaining the Sassafras Mountain community and, as best we can, preserving the property values of our community. This web site also provides general information for any interested party looking for a mountain retreat.  We trust that you will find it useful as a tool to learn more about the Sassafras Mountain community itself as well as local resources in the surrounding area.

Your Road Contribution is much Appreciated!

At this time, we want to recognize the following neighbors who have helped financially enhance our roads this year. We've worked on building up shoulders, repairing potholes, and trimming back overgrowth. However, due to the rainfall this fall, we have postponed the restriping until spring.
